Rumor roundup: Samsung Galaxy S4 (IV)

With Apple and Samsung now the two biggest smartphone players around, it's no surprise that updates to their flagship handsets are eagerly anticipated by many. Like Apple's iPhone 5, even though the Samsung Galaxy S III is not even close to a year old, rumors of the next-generation device have already started making their rounds.
During CES at Las Vegas, other smartphone manufacturers such as Sony and Huawei have launched new5-inch smartphones with full-HD 1080p displays, and this is a feature that both Apple and Samsung's current flagship handsets lack.
Some of the rumors being circulated on the Web address this issue for Samsung's upcoming handset--a report states that the S4 will feature a 5-inch display with a pixel density of 440ppi. One thing we can reasonably predict is that the recently announced octa-core Exynos 5 will likely be used for Samsung's next high-end handset, but of course, we'll have to wait and see.
The Galaxy S4 will have an unbreakable screen
The next-generation could be equipped with the foldable display unveiled at CES. This could mean a handset that won't easily break. If so, this will be one phone with cool feature that could be hard to match.
There will be 1080p
Sister site CNET UK reports that a 5-inch 1080p display is in the works and will appear in the S4. This isn't a surprise as Samsung's competitors already have similar products and it's unlikely the Korean company will be left behind.
Octa-core processor?
With every high-end handset sporting quad-core processors, Samsung needs to up its game and it could do so by loading the S4 with its latest octa-core chip.
How about a 13-megapixel camera?
CNET has a report that says that Samsung will be upgrading the 8-megapixel sensor found on the current model to one that matches its competitors.
The name
It could be that the Galaxy S4 won't be called the S4 (or the S IV). CNET Asia's Jacqueline Seng previously wrote about a rumor that said that the S4 would have an early launch in February 2013 (since debunked), and there was talk that the Korean company may not use the number four for the name due to the number four being unlucky (it sounds like "death" in Chinese and Japanese while sounding like "kill" in Korean). In fact, you will be unable to find the number four in any of the model numbers of Samsung's phones.
