A new promo photo for the upcoming independent film about Steve Jobs shows Ashton Kutcher bearing an uncanny resemblance to the former Apple CEO, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in October 2011.
The Sundance Institute released the image and a deeper synopsis of the flick — titled jOBS — on Monday.
"The true story of one of the greatest entrepreneurs in American history, jOBS chronicles the defining 30 years of Steve Jobs' life," reads the synopsis. "jOBS is a candid, inspiring and personal portrait of the one who saw things differently."
jOBS will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival as the closing night film in January. The promo image is a play on this photograph of Jobs on desk during his early Apple days:
Kutcher, who stars in CBS's Two and a Half Men, previously played roles on Fox'sThat '70s Show and in films such as The Butterfly Effect, No Strings Attached, Valentine's Day and Dude, Where's My Car?
Do you think Kutcher makes a good Steve Jobs? If not, who else do you think should have played the role?
